Η ταινία Joker, που ξεχώρισε για την συγκλονιστική ερμηνεία του Joaquin Phoenix, έφτασε στην κορυφή με 11 υποψηφιότητες, στις κυριότερες κατηγορίες: A’ Ανδρικού ρόλου για τον Joaquin Phoenix, Καλύτερης ταινίας, Σκηνοθεσίας και Διασκευασμένου Σεναρίου.
Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood του Quentin Tarantino διεκδικεί 10 βραβεία, μεταξύ αυτών: Καλύτερης ταινίας, Α’ Ανδρικού για τον Leonardo DiCaprio, Σκηνοθεσίας, B’ Ανδρικού ρόλου για τον Brad Pitt και Πρωτότυπου Σεναρίου.
1917(10 υποψηφιότητες) , η πολεμική ταινία του Sam Mendes βρίσκεται υποψήφια στις κατηγορίες:Καλύτερης ταινίας, Σκηνοθεσίας, Πρωτότυπου Σεναρίου και διεκδικεί ακόμα 7 βραβεία.
Βραβείο Καλύτερης Ταινίας διεκδικούν οι Ταινίες Jojo Rabbit και Little Women που συνολικά έχουν συγκεντρώσει από 6 υποψηφιότητες η κάθε μία και το Ford v. Ferarri που είναι υποψήφιo συνολικά για 4 βραβεία.
Η ταινία Pain&Glory διεκδικεί δύο βραβεία στις κατηγορίες Α’Ανδρικού ρολού για τον Antonio Banderas και Ξενόγλωσσης Ταινίας.
