Σύμφωνα με το Variety το Friday the 13th: The Game έρχεται και επίσημα στο Switch στη μορφή του Friday the 13th: The Game Ultimate Slasher Switch Edition.

Jason is out to get you in Friday the 13th: The Video Game, a terrifying game based on the slasher film franchise. Stalk camp counselors across Crystal Lake as Jason Voorhees, or assume the role of a helpless camper and attempt to survive the night. <p> The multiplayer component to the game pits one player as Jason against up to seven people as counselors. While Jason can be an immensely daunting, seemingly unstoppable force, he is able to be brought down with an ‘epic’ win condition. It’ll be difficult, require some teamwork, and perhaps a bit of ingenuity, but we’ll be giving you the tools and opportunities to realize the biggest win in horror gaming. Αλλά δεν θα έχει τα διάφορα costumes που ήταν μόνο για τους Kickstarter υποστηριχτές.</p> <p>Το παιχνίδι κυκλοφόρησε το 2017 για PlayStation 4, Xbox One, και PC, και αντιμετωπίζει νομικά προβλήματα με τον σκηνοθέτη Victor Miller. Λόγω αυτού του προβλήματος, ο συν-δημιουργός <a href=Wes Keltner, ανακοίνωσε πως θα σταματήσει η δημιουργία μελλοντικού περιεχόμενου για το παιχνίδι.
